APTLD will have its Annual General Meeting on 26th February 2004 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in conjunction with APRICOT 2004. Based on the Constitution and the Malaysian Lawyers' confirmation, 5 Board seats are up for fresh elections before KL AGM. Please find below the 2004 Board election schedule for your reference.

Schedule:

1. Call for and confirm on the voting representative of each ccTLD member before 9th Jan, 2004

2. Call for candidates nomination by voting representative of each ccTLD member on 10th – 16th Jan 2004

3. Confirmation on Candidates’ Qualification on 17th – 19th Jan 2004

4. Announce the list of Candidates on 20th Jan 2004

5. Voting ballot sent to voting representative of each ccTLD member on 27th Jan 2004

6. Voting period on 27th Jan – 3rd Feb 2004

7. Voting result approval on 4th – 6th Feb 2004

8. Voting result announcement on 9th Feb 2004

9. If a tie occurred, a 2nd voting for the tie on 10th – 13th Feb 2004

10. 2nd voting result approval on 16th – 18th Feb 2004

11. Final result announcement on 19th Feb 2004

Nomination was just closed on 16th January and confirmed on 20th January. The Nomination List is available at www.aptld.org/file/Nomination_for_2004_APTLD_Board_Election.htm for your reference.

Please note that the VOTING BALLOT will be sent to each member's voting representative on 27th January by email. If any of the voting representative has problem with reading HTML mail, please let us know.

The voting period will start from 27th Jan. and close on 3rd Feb. Please do remember to cast the vote.
