APTLD would like to
congratulate InternetNZ to be appointed as the next APTLD Secretariat for a
two-year term from 2005~2006 and thank to Firstprinciples and Q Software
Research Corporation for their proposals and supports.
The voting was officially closed at 24:00 Taipei Time (GMT+8), 8th October
2004. The voting result is confirmed and approved by appointed scrutineers,
Mr. Hirofumi Hotta (JPRS) and Mr. Stafford Guest (Internet Users Society -
Niue). |

APTLD invites interested organisations (APTLD
members or non-members) and individuals to submit proposal to operate APTLD
Secretariat.

Since 2000, APTLD has maintained a professional secretariat as a focal point
to provide support for APTLD and its activities, and respond to all
inquiries concerning APTLD. In addition, the secretariat is responsible for
carrying out promotional and educational outreach program to Asia Pacific
ccTLDs and regional /global Internet organisations. The current APTLD
Secretariat is operated and sponsored by TWNIC, an APTLD founding member,
whose term ends by the end of 2004. The APTLD Board is, therefore, calling
for proposals to operate the APTLD Secretarial for a two year term from 1
January 2005 to 31 December 2006.
A guideline of "Request for Proposal to Operate APTLD Secretariat" is
outlined in this document providing information on:
