PROPOSAL - Amendment of Constitution

The following is the proposal to amend the APTLD Constitution.


(1)Proposed resolution

  1. Amendment of 14.5.3 and 14.5.4 of the Constitution

Current:

14.5.3 Vice Chairman for Membership, also known as the Secretary; and

14.5.4 Vice Chairman for Treasure, also known as the Treasurer.

　 Proposal:

　14.5.3 Secretary; and

14.5.4 Treasurer.


  1. Deletion of 14.16.3 of the Constitution

14.16.3 The Secretary shall be responsible for all matters in connection with Membership.


(2)Purpose

The definition of the Secretary in the Constitution is rather vague and broad. It brings about the possibility of confusion and limiting the GM’s ability to effectively perform his tasks. Therefore, the responsibility/authority of the Secretary stated in the constitution should be removed and transferred to the GM.
