Hong Kong Domain Name Registration Company Ltd. has announced the launch of Chinese Domain Name Technical Trial on June 27, 2005. This Technical Trial is open to public – everyone is welcomed to register a trial Chinese Domain Name.

The objective to launch a Technical Trial is to gather comments and feedback from trial users and Service Partners in order to provide better service to the community during the official launch. HKDNR is dedicated to identify and address all issues which may arise in the trial period so that Chinese Domain Name can be launched smoothly to the public in the year 2006.

The Chinese Domain Name Technical Trial commenced on June 27, 2005, and will last until December 28, 2005. In other words, all trial domain names registered during this period will expire on December 29, 2005. During the trial period, all disputes on Chinese Domain Names will be handled by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.

The trial domain names are free of charge. Registration procedure is very simple: just fill in the on-line registration form at http://www.cdntt.hkdnr.hk and the trial domain name will be active on the next day. The number of trial domain names is limited – all registrations are first-come-first-served.
